Vanilla Agave Nectar - 1 gal
Quite Possibly the World’s Most Perfect Sweetener
Agave nectar is a terrific sweetener and a wonderful complement to cacao products like Chocolate Bliss.
Agave has extremely low glycemic action. Simplified, glycemic index is the measure of enzymes any food requires for it's sugar components to be digested. Lower glycemic index foods require less digestive enzymes. This redirects pancreatic enzymes to tissue regeneration, immune function and longevity rather than digestion. It resists and defers the majority of it's digestion until the lower intestine, where white sugar and alcohol are both primarily digested/absorbed in the stomach. Agave is a natural for people with sugar metabolism challenges, such as diabetes or hypoglycemia.
Agave's rich density of saponins increases hydration as the soapy, surfectant nature of saponins change the wetting angle of water it contacts. This eases and accelerates cellular water uptake, especially when used with a high-quality salt.
This agave nectar has been infused with 100% Pure Premium Vanilla Bean Powder (most vanilla is less than 1% actual vanilla bean!). Agave nectar and vanilla bean powder together have two primary synergies: they amplify flavors more together than each do individually, & when vanilla bean powder is cold decocted (flavors extracted) in agave nectar, the vanilla agave nectar seems to have even less of a glycemic effect than agave nectar by itself.
This is a Certified Pristine product.
